Kitchen Additions

Though we closed on the house a week ago, we still won't live there for another week.  The kids are finishing up school, so we've just been making a few trips when we can with boxes and such.  I took the kids over tonight, and while they played, I assembled the kitchen stools.  They were a breeze to put together.  Each one took under 15 minutes.  I bought them from hayneedle.com.  I highly recommend them...great products, great prices, and free (and fast) shipping.

I really like how I can put a stool at the end of the peninsula
so that all three kids have plenty of room.

Just a random kitchen pic :)

My huge fridge.  It is 31 cu. ft. of awesomeness!
And since everyone else is posting pictures of blinds this week, I didn't want to be left out.  The pictures aren't great because of the sun, but I have proof that something has been accomplished:

J's room

N's room

L's room
The next project will involve ceiling fans and lights, but it looks like that will happen after we move.  One week left to pack!!!

    1. Thanks! I'm still busy packing, but hopefully by tomorrow night, I will have my kitchen pretty much unpacked. If only the rest of the stuff would pack itself!

    1. I have three 24" stools around the peninsula and two 29" stools for the breakfast bar. You could probably fit 4 stools around the peninsula, but I wanted elbow room for the kids.

    2. Thanks, I like them! I may copy you on those. Wish I could update you and everyone on the "Pink" issue but the situation has gotten ugly :(

    3. Copy away! I'm sorry to hear that you're still "pink." Can it really get uglier than that? I hope they resolve that problem soon!

    4. So I am devastated. They want a substantial sum of money to un-pink me....what a miserable bitter soon to be Ryan homeowner they have created. I'm keeping it off my blog for now but I will make sure the world knows how miserable I am about the largest purchase of my life.

    5. Oh, Stuart, I am so sorry! I was hoping that since you hadn't mentioned it lately that it had been resolved. Wasn't there an issue with the names, as in what you selected had a different name from what they installed? What are you going to do?

  6. Are you guys putting a fan in your morning room? I have no idea what size of fan to put in mine. I really like this one for the family room but I want them to match and I think this one would be way too big for the morning room.
