Kids Bath |
Looks clean, doesn't it? That's because I cleaned before I took the picture. Three kids does not a clean bathroom make! |
Master bath from bedroom |
To make up for only one towel rack, I bought a towel stand to hang washcloths. |
Love the shower, but I'm going to have to steal another blogger's idea to use privacy film on that window! |
Master bedroom view from upstairs hall |
Love having the second floor laundry! No more hauling laundry up and down the steps. |
Dining room, aka piano room. I will probably lower the chandelier a bit more. |
Study, aka my craft room |
Sadly, there are still more boxes to unpack in this room and more to transport from the old house. |
We are slowly but surely getting settled. We love our house and our new neighborhood. We've met a lot of neighbors, and they are all very friendly. The kids and pets have adjusted well. I will post more pictures soon!
Wow-thanks for posting pics-looks like you are really getting things settled. :) I love the idea of window film for your shower window. And I am 100% envious of your 2nd floor laundry. :) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLooking good! I like the idea for a standing towel rack on the counter. I might have to use that when my house is built. I'm gonna have to find more places for a towels. I need more then one!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of the second floor laundry and I love the window in there!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks great! Can't wait to meet sometime! Our grass is finally starting to sprout up, but boy is it a pain to keep watering and a mess!!!! I can't wait until that is done because the garage floor, driveway and sidewalks are a mud/hay pit :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the window in the laundry room!
ReplyDeleteDitto! I love the window in the laundry room and the idea that you can wash on the same level! Everything is coming along nicely, Rachel! Wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteAll furnitures are nicely arranged..good use of the space..I love your bedroom furnitures..It is very nice and has lots of storage..I love it.
ReplyDeleteWow....I think you are farther along than we are. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI love the window in your laundry room!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that window I would think makes doing laundry a little more bearable!
ReplyDeletelove the pics, altho i'm not even sure y a window in ur bathroom shower would even be the right thing. we must write the Ryan architects a letter lol. i dig your "counter" how do I get one of those?
ReplyDeleteI just looked at the pics again and realized that the shower picture makes it look like the window is in the shower, but it was just the reflection. It's really over the soaking tub :)
DeleteGreat pics, thanks for sharing! Looks like you are getting settled in nicely. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat color is the frame of your shower surround? Does it match all the faucet hardware in the room?
ReplyDeleteThe shower surround is oil rubbed bronze. There are three separate areas to change in order to get all the fixtures to match: plumbing fixtures, door hardware and lights. The plumbing includes the faucets, towel bars, toilet paper holders and shower surround (in our area). I remember another blogger that was not able to get the bronze shower surround or faucets in her area.
DeleteHi! I was just looking over these pictures. It's great to see that you're using the 'dining room' for your piano room. We're building a Williamsburg with Ryland Homes and we're doing the same thing. The 'dining' room is just too small for us and a perfect place for the 'baby'!
