We were pleasantly surprised at the window that will be at the top of the front door.  We had never seen a picture of the door, and we assumed it would be just a plain, six panel door.

Other changes: added outlet in the garage, added floodlights off the morning room, upgraded kitchen faucet, added the post light and signed off on our landscaping.

  1. Thanks! We can't wait to see it all put together.

  2. Love your selections, especially your laminate! What brand and style/color is it?

    1. Thanks! The laminate is Armstrong Native Cherry. It is 5.25" plank which is one of the reasons I really like it. It also has "Hydracore" which is supposed to make it sound like you are walking on real hardwood. As much as I love hardwood, with 3 kids and 2 dogs, our current hardwood floors have seen better days. So, we liked the 30 year wear warranty on the laminate. It is one level above the base laminate floors.

    2. It's beautiful and very practical! I wish they would have had this as a selection in our area. We got something similar, but the grain lines in yours are much more subtle and graceful.
